Collaborating Departments and Institutes

Due to our clinical research focus, the Neuropsychology & Behavioural Neurology Unit closely collaborates with the Neurology Department of the University Hospital (USB) and the University Psychiatric Clinic (UPK).

In the field of neurology, we collaborate with the Multiple Sclerosis Working Group (Prof. Dr. L. Kappos, Prof. Dr. T. Derfuss and PD Dr. J. Kuhle) as well as with the Department for Clinical Neurophysiology (Prof. Dr. P. Fuhr, PD Dr. U. Gschwandtner), which both belong to the University Hospital of Basel (USB). Moreover, in the field of psychiatry, we closely collaborate with the Centre for Affective Stress- and Sleep disorders (ZASS, Prof. Dr. Edith Holsboer-Trachsler & PD Dr. Serge Brand) and the Neurobiology Laboratory For Brain Aging and Mental Health (Prof. Dr. Anne Eckert) at the University Psychiatric Clinic of Basel (UPK) as well as with the medico-actuarial sciences (ASIM; Prof.Dr. R. Mager, li.jur. Y. Bollag) at the University Hospital (USB).
